    OCA Sacramento-Regional Coalition for Tolerance has scheduled a press conference this fall in partnership with Senator President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg to recognize October as National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month as part of our media outreach and dissemination campaign to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention.

    Our Regional Coalition for Tolerance will launch aLOCAL and NATIONAL RESOURSE LIST on our website. These lists serve as a crucial tool to address bullying in schools, recreational programs, community organizations across the nation.

    Join us, along with legislatures, educators, students, families, victims, and individuals who care. It is our hope to unite our communities and inspire and send a message to join the movement.

    SACRAMENTO, CA –State Senator Lou Correa (D-Santa Ana) announced that Senate Bill (SB) 231, a measure to establish the California Bullying and Peer Abuse Prevention Hotline (Bullying Hotline) to address issues related to youth bullying unanimously passed out of the Senate Education Committee.

Press conference set for Tuesday, October 1st, at the State Capitol.
